for newborn photography shoots, most people are so excited to get that delightful, peaceful, sleeping baby image. of course, you can not intentionally will a baby to sleep...and that is okay, because we often get some delightful images of the "awake" baby! this one is so seemingly insightful! it is always rewarding to capture that special interaction occuring between photographer and baby in images from the session.

CONGRATULATIONS to Lacy Holleman! we love Lacy and her family and had such fun with her senior photo session! Lacy will attend University of Tulsa, majoring in English and History. Lacy received a National Merit Scholarship and the Presidential Scholarship at her university. throughout her high school career she has won various awards in art, was a class officer for the National Honor Society, was a volunteer swim instructor for children, played flute in band and was recently honored as 2011 Miss MHHS (from a panel of local business leaders). this is a photo of carolanne (studio director) and kristen (our new assistant) drawing this month's lucky winner's name from one of our carved wooden photo keepsake boxes!

it doesn't matter where you live, last month's winner was a bride (congratulations linda!) that came to get married in AR and she lives in Illinois...she was the drawing winner and we mailed her prize to her! :)
