Hey everyone! We've been so busy this past month, I let the drawing for our facebook fan winner slip by--but it is NEVER too late! Kristen my trusty assistant is not in today, but I have a past photo that I'm going to use anyway to announce our winner for August...

I cannot tell you how EXCITED we are to finally get to post some lovely images from Lauryn's bridal session. We had to wait so we wouldn't spoil the surprise for Garrett to see her in her beautiful gown on their wedding day!

Part of the jclare crew, Carolanne and Jess, traveled to Garrett's family cabin deep in the heart of the Ozarks for this session. We did some photos inside the cabin, like this one in the family rocker beside the fireplace. Isn't she just lovely?!

Then...we headed outdoors. The sky was BEAUTIFUL and so was she, we couldn't resist this vintage shot. The glider belonged to Garrett's great grandmother so it has a lot of sentimental feelings to go along with a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. They love to sit here and watch deer come right up to the cabin in the evenings. You may recall the image of Lauryn and Garrett at their engagement session in this same glider?!

Then, the field was beckoning! We just had to get her into that lovely golden grass with the green trees and AMAZING sky behind her, with those unbelievable clouds!! It was breathtaking!

There is just nothing to compare to the lovely look of happiness and anticipation on the face of a bride-to-be! We had so much fun with Lauryn!

I'm putting in the engagement photo below, of Lauryn and Garrett together, on the glider. We love the vintage treatment on this one!

THANK YOU to everyone that participated as a business sponsor, and to everyone that came by for the jclare studios Open House for area high school juniors and seniors! We had such a GRAND time. Beth Gage (Wedding, Events & More) a local event planner, decorated the studio and got us all into the "party" mood! DJ Peace was here for a live radio remote, we had cupcakes from Janice (Layer By Layer), our friends Steve and Brenda (Flights of Fancy White Dove Release) stopped by with Gilbert and the flock to release as we kicked off the event... and just so many other things that contributed to a wonderful Open House!!!

We loved meeting all you seniors and parents, thank you for coming by. We are so excited about all the senior sessions coming up this year! It was great to even book some juniors for their sessions at the end of this school year (they couldn't pass up the huge $100 savings we offered for booking at the party). Whew, we are all tired and energized at the same time!!! :)
